D23 Expo & Food

If you know me personally, you can probably tell my family and I are crazy for anything Disney. Like most weekends I am in Orlando going to Disney.. HECK I even lived at Disney before! I have a Disney time share, I have a Disney themed car, I have Disney bed sheets, I have a Disney purse.. I am sure you get the point. I LOVE DISNEY.
Well, there is this "magical" fan event called D23 Expo. It happens every two years. D23 is where they release different information on the theme parks, movies, merchandise, and all things Disney.
I was super excited and anxious and out right thrilled to be there.. Until we actually got inside the expo.. Because inside the expo.. Well lets say it was worse then standing in line for Mine Train... BECAUSE IT WAS LIKE STANDING IN LINE FOR MINE TRAIN LIKE 7 TIMES!
Okay.. So Im now realizing that a lot of people aren't going to understand what stand in line for Mine Train means. Mine Train is a ride at Magic Kingdom that ALWAYS has a two hour line. Therefore what I am trying to say is that everything inside D23 Expo had a RIDICULOUS line. Any store, any panel, any live stage show had a line that was about three hours long minimum. Literally.

On the last day, I felt bad my brother didn't get to go in the pin store. So at 6:30 I woke up, got in line for the expo that opened at 9. Once I finally got in, I ran to the pin store which was already 3 hours long even though the expo had only been open for 25 minutes TOPS.. so yeah I waited 5 1/2 hours for pins......
Anyways, moral of the story is I wasn't prepared for this event and I imagined it extremely different. Just ask me if you want to know more about the event.. LETS GET TO THE FOOD.
Other then the Expo, my brother, mother, and I also when to Disneyland! I have a recap video of the whole weekend on my youtube if you want to check it out. Ill put the link up in a later post.

nFuse was a convenient delicious restaurant that we had right on the first floor of our hotel for D23 weekend. My family and I ate at nFuse two out of the three nights we stayed in Anaheim, California. On our first visit we shared the hummus appetizer, which was kind of oily but tasted delicious. I then enjoyed The buttermilk chicken sandwich which was crispy and melt in your mouth good.
On a second visit we sat outside. We started off with the buffalo chicken wings . They were really freaking amazing but make sure to ask for them extra crispy! I then had the bacon hamburger. The bacon was extra crispy. The restaurant had a lot of seating inside and out. It was really nice for hotel grub.
What is a trip to Disneyland without amazing goodies!? Check out some of the fun treats we had and saw:

Im not sure the name of the restaurant but its the best place to eat when at California Adventure... literally just look for the place that looks like a vineyard!

So I totally could of ate like 12 more of those raspberry Mickey macaroons to be honest, they were delicious and huge!
BUT speaking of delicious macaroons I finally got to go to HONEY AND BUTTER YAY! Honey and Butter is a bakery that sells all kinds of fun macaroons. They are famous for making adorable character shaped macaroons fresh every day.
Unfortunately, I got to the store as soon as they opened so I didn't get to enjoy any of the cute characters. They start selling the specialty macaroons at noon. Either way, I bought a box of 12 different flavor macaroons. They have the best flavors such as fruity peoples, rose, lavender, caramel, French toast, and so much more.
The store was a little out of the way from where we were staying but the mall it was in was amazing. Totally worth the drive!

So check out my two videos of my trip on youtube if you get the chance.. Not the best quality but at least its an inside look of what to expect of D2 Expo. Cheers!
