Toronto, Canada

This past weekend I was visiting Canada for a business trip. Toronto is a beautiful new and upcoming city which is painted with culture, art, and liveliness. So what do I do in a new city? Eat my way through it...

My breakfast before touring the town and checking out the amazing CN Tower!

Walking out of an underground parking lot to a view that is worth a thousand words, there is a Rec Room that is unlike anything I've ever seen. We have all been to Dave and Busters with it's annoying bright lights and below average menu.. but this is just the opposite. The Rec Room is new and rustic. It is literally a place of entertainment for people of all ages. It has the huge style arcade game for everyone to enjoy, the bar for the adults to get a drink or two.. maybe even three... and a sports atmosphere for any sports fan!! Its located in the middle of downtown Toronto so it's super easy to get to. Plus there is a lot of other activities to do once you leave.

The food was so delicious, nothing we ate was bad.

And what is a trip to Canada without seeing Niagara falls?

What is prettier? The hot dog or the falls?

After we experienced the Falls completely, my family and I found this crazy little street. It had interactive arcades, mini golf, and a Ferris wheel! The best thing of all was at the end of the street there was a brewery! Niagara Falls Brewery was amazing.

Although we had eaten hot dogs not to long before this, we of course ordered a shit ton of food..

The next day we went to a Blue Jays game. I swear, Toronto fans are fun and loud. I enjoy baseball, but I would go to a lot more Marlins games if we had as much spirit as they did. After the game we went to an area my friend recommended. Distillery district is what hipster dreams are made of and to make it even better, it had the Mill Street Beer Hall.

The packed restaurant sat our group of three adults and a child immediately. There was pups everywhere, I was in heaven.

Canadas drinking age is 18/19 but the guy still hesitated when he checked my ID. Trust me, I look 16 but I'm 22, I promise...

It took a while for my beer and my sisters wine to come out but once it did it paired deliciously with our app pretzel. I ordered the Belgium wheat and my brother ordered the IPA. The IPA blew my beer away.

What stole the show was the food! So amazing. The steak frites was a bit over cooked but I didn't complain cause it was amazing. The fish and chips was perfectly battered and crisp and the chicken pot pie was out of this world. I would recommend all of it tbh.

Toronto is a beautiful city, I wish I had more time to see it. For a four day trip, I believe we did a lot though. We did all the great things shown above plus go to a Blue Jays game, seeing the Ripleys Aquarium, going to Toronto "Times Square," and checking out SportChek. I can't wait to go back and see what else I can eat... I mean see.
