The Keto Way!

Well hello everyone!
Its been a while.
I'm not going to lie, I gave up on posting things because no one was reading it.. But I have decided to try a new but instead, write these posts for myself as a reminder.
I've decided to lose a coupe pounds before summer. I have been watching my brothers drop pounds for months on the KETO diet. I am in love with carbs. Ill admit it. I like fruits AND potatoes AND rice AND pasta AND Disney snacks like pretzels and Dole Whips. I would first like to say, I am super skeptical about it. I have read all I have to read.. the good and the bad... and I am still not hooked on the heath impacts. However, I have seen personally that:
1. It really works! My brothers have all dropped 30ish pounds since the beginning of the year. They do not follow it strictly either!
2. It really is not that hard. Eating restrictions seem strict but very easy to follow and count.
3. My brothers have way more energy and their actual health is better than ever according to their doctors.
4. Just cause one is cutting carbs, does not mean one cant eat! Ive made so many meals for my brothers that are low carbs. Meals like mac n' cheese, cauliflower rice, cheesecake, and even bread!
I do NOT need to lose 30 pounds.. I barely even need to lose 15 lb. So, this is not a long term thing for me, even though people use keto as lifestyle even after they lose the weight. I plan to add some starch and continue the healthy eating habits of it. I know there are different levels of carbs intakes and versions of keto but I haven't looked that far in to it yet.. I research once I get closer!
